Hi-link HLK-LD021-5G Radar Sensor Module
The Hi-Link HLK-LD021-5G is a 5.8GHz microwave Doppler radar sensor module designed for motion detection and presence sensing in embedded and automation applications. Operating in the 5.725–5.875 GHz ISM band, it uses fixed-frequency Doppler radar technology to detect movement by analyzing frequency shifts in reflected microwave signals.
It is important to note that the “5G” in HLK-LD021-5G refers to the 5GHz radar frequency band, not cellular 5G networks. This module delivers stable and accurate motion detection without relying on heat signatures, making it more reliable than traditional PIR sensors in many environments.
With a wide detection angle (~110°) and a typical detection range of 3 to 10 meters, the HLK-LD021-5G is ideal for smart lighting, occupancy detection, security systems, and industrial automation. Its compact design allows easy integration into various electronic systems.
